Upgrade Planning

Prior to a software upgrade, Encore reviews your current environment in detail and identifies any potential compatibility issues. Depending on the size and complexity of the environment, a test upgrade is sometimes recommended. The test upgrade reveals any issues that may be encountered, such as reports that do not upgrade properly and also serves as a training environment for users. Training the users on the new version of the software prior to the live upgrade helps reduce downtime.
