Do More Amazing Things – Day 1 #CONV14
There is a no denying that Microsoft knows how to wake up 12,000 people at nine a.m. Convergence attendees were welcomed into Phillips Arena to a live band, the Convergence blimp and the Spirit of Atlanta Drum Corps.
The morning’s keynote was kicked off by Wayne Morris. CVP Marketing at MBS sharing the seven anticipated releases for 2014. Dynamics CRM Spring update, Dynamics AX 2012 R3, and Dynamics GP 2013 R2 are anticipated in Half One. Dynamics GP ‘14’, Dynamics NAV ‘Crete’, Dynamics CRM Autumn Update, and Dynamics AX Autumn update are anticipated in Half Two.
Kirill Tatarinov, Executive Vice President of MBS, was this morning’s keynote. He talked about the dynamics of human connection and how we are no longer b2c or b2b; we are p2p – people to people. As a result, how we engage, nurture, and delight our customers needs to evolve. The front office and back office must be tied closer together than ever before. As businesses, we need to market smarter, sell more effectively, offer ‘care’ everywhere, and operate dynamically.
The keynote featured mini Dynamics CRM 2013 demos for sales, marketing, and customer care to articulate the concepts.
The morning keynote has me looking forward to the Customer Experience sessions. There are quite a few of them this year.
