Convergence 2014 – Take the Opportunity to Leave Your Mark in Atlanta
For all you loyal Encore customers you’ve heard us heavily promoting Convergence for 10+ years. This conference is a big deal – for a lot of reasons – most of them to help your business drive efficiency and return on investment, but there is also an opportunity for you to leave your mark in Atlanta.
There is a ton of information posted on the Convergence website about the conference itself, but there is a humanitarian component you may also want to take part in.
For the fifth year, Microsoft is inviting conference attendees to volunteer to participate in the Community Outreach projects planned to help give back to the host community. Convergence has left a lasting impact and sparked ongoing assistance and resources for the cities that have played host to this conference for the last 4 years. I can tell you from experience that swinging a hammer as part of this volunteer initiative was very gratifying. Watch the video from Convergence 2013 in New Orleans and see what a difference you can make.
The offsite community outreach opportunity will be held Monday, March 3. Registration is required and can easily be done at the same time as your conference registration or afterwards via the returning services link found in your conference registration confirmation email. Volunteer opportunities inside the Georgia World Congress Center will vary by day from Tuesday, March 4 through Thursday, March 6.
