DynamicsCon | Free Virtual Learning Event
If your life has been anything like mine over the last year and half, there really hasn’t been a whole lot to look forward to! However something positive that I think has come from the last year and a half is the number of virtual events available that we can attend from the comfort of our home. Some of these are events that we might not have otherwise been able to attend if it was in-person. I thought I would share some information about an upcoming virtual event called DynamicsCon!
What is DynamicsCon?
DynamicsCon is a free, 4 half-day virtual event for Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics GP, and Power Platform user professionals. The event takes place from September 20 – 23, 2021, with sessions beginning at 9:00am EDT and running until 1:00pm EDT (2:00pm on the 22nd). You can register for the event on the DynamicsCon website.
DynamicsCon Sessions
Sessions were submitted by experts within the Dynamics User Group community and voted on publicly so that the topics presented are the most important to you and the user community! Voting has now closed and the final agenda has been published, so feel free to head over to the website and check out the agenda. Registrants can attend any session for any product they’d like.
There are five session tracks for different product areas:
- Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Dynamics GP
- Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
- Dynamics Finance and Supply Chain Management (Finance and Operations)
- Power Platform
Session Recordings
Registrants can view any missed sessions on the DynamicsCon YouTube channel. It’s great to attend the event the day of to participate in a live Q&A with the speakers, but it’s also helpful that the sessions are recorded so they can be watched later!
Encore Team Member Session
Encore’s Andras Szabo, a Technical Solution Analyst on our Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management team, will be presenting at DynamicsCon. Join Andras on September 23rd at 10:30am EDT for “Lessons Learned – LCS, DevOps, Release Proc and Branching”. Andras says the session is for a technical audience, but the functional audience will find it helpful too.
Dynamics User Group
The Dynamics User Group (DUG) is the group behind the DynamicsCon event. The DUG provide resources and tools to users, administrators, developers, and partners in the various Microsoft product areas. The specific product areas supported by this community include Dynamics 365 Business Central (NAV), Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations/AX), Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM), Dynamics GP, and the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents). To learn more about DUG, please see the “About” section on the DynamicsCon website.
Past and Future DynamicsCon Events
There are two virtual DynamicsCon events this year, one in the spring and one in the fall. This past spring, I had the opportunity to host a Q&A session at DynamicsCon on behalf of a colleague. It was a great experience and I look forward to attending some sessions in September!
DynamicsCon is on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook so you have flexibility in how you stay connected and in the know about this event and others in the future!
If you have any questions about DynamicsCon or selecting sessions to attend, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Encore and we would be happy to help!
