You may be wondering what impact, if any, upgrading a client from GP18.0 to GP18.2 (October 2019 release or year-end release) will have on your Encore Products.
With the October 2019 release of Dynamics GP, Microsoft has incremented the minor version in their build number, .2 in this case. Encore has now completed their product updates to support the change and have released the GP18.2 compatible builds to the Encore website.
Any client moving to GP18.2 from any other version including GP18.0 will need to install the GP18.2 compatible build of their Encore Product(s) and request GP18.2 compatible keys by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
To download the GP18.2 compatible builds for Encore Products please visit the products page. Once on the applicable Encore Products page, scroll to or select ‘Resources’ to move to the download section to access the install file and user documentation.
Enhanced Customer Statement and Investor Relationship Manager Information
Enhanced Customer Statement and Investor Relationship Manager are retired Encore Products that are being used by a few clients as a custom solution. Encore does not assess an annual maintenance fee for retired solutions but rather assesses a one-time upgrade fee for the required install file when upgrading to a new version of GP.
If a client has already paid for and received GP18.0 compatible keys for either of these products please request GP18.2 compatible keys and the install file by emailing email@example.com. Keys for GP18.2 will be generated, without charge, for any client who has already paid for and received GP18.0 keys. Encore will set the price for future key requests for both Enhanced Customer Statement and Investor Relationship Manager prior to the October 2020 release of GP once Microsoft releases versioning information back to ISV’s.
