Budgeting for Convergence
Cost often plays a significant part in a company’s decision to send employees to Convergence. The following is a rough breakdown of costs, so you can budget accordingly.
An early bird pass for Convergence 2014 was $1 545, whereas a full price pass cost $1 845. Knowing that you are going in advance will help save your organization money.
The cost to travel to Atlanta will vary, depending on your location. If you know beforehand that you are planning on attending, you can start watching the price of airfares now.
Microsoft negotiates rates with hotels within 2.5 miles of the convention centre and offers a shuttle service to hotels that are not within walking distance. Hotels generally range in cost from $160 to $200 per night.
Breakfast and lunch are included each day of the conference. There are social events that take place most evenings where food is provided. There will only be a handful of meals you will have to cover.
