Congratulations! You’ve made the decision to invest in ramping up your skills and knowledge by attending a Microsoft Dynamics conference in the next 12 months. You know that this investment is not only going to help with your everyday use of Dynamics, but also will help your organization improve on any inefficiencies.
What you probably haven’t decided on is which Dynamics conference to attend.
2 Conferences to Choose From
Dynamics users are fortunate to have two large conferences to choose from. There’s Microsoft Dynamics Convergence, which is held every spring, and Dynamics User Group’s Summit, which takes place every fall. How do you know which one to attend? Where are you going to get the best return on your investment?
- Convergence has been compared to a night club. It’s big, flashy, and action-packed with big name keynote speakers, including Senior VPs from Microsoft. The conference features information about new products and trends from Microsoft Dynamics. You’ll get tips and tricks, as well as knowledge that you can start using right away. You’ll leave inspired and excited about what’s next for Dynamics.
- Summit has more of a coffee shop atmosphere – it’s intimate and focused. Summit’s purpose is to facilitate honest conversations with other users about what technologies they are using, what’s working, what’s not, how they’ve solved issues, and how someone else in the same role uses Dynamics. Senior Dynamics leaders participate in interactive sessions. You’ll leave with actionable solutions, new connections, and answers to your most urgent questions.
Breaking Down Summit and Convergence
To break it down a little further, we have prepared this chart.
The conference that is right for your organization depends on your end goals. Are you interested only in the Dynamics product you are using or do you want to look at additional solutions? Are you looking for immediate improvements or do you want to start planning how to better leverage your Dynamics solution now and in the future?
We believe that you can’t go wrong with either conference. If need assistance with deciding or with planning how to get the most out of each conference, please contact us.
