Recap: Vancouver Microsoft Dynamics GP User Group
Yesterday we hosted a Microsoft Dynamics GP User Group in Vancouver at the Vancouver Lookout.
We were so fortunate to have a fantastic sunrise – there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. The view was amazing.
The day got started promptly at 8:45 with just over 40 people joining us.
The day kicked off with Tracey talking about Dynamics GP 2013 and specifically the licensing changes that come along with it. This lead into Dynamics 2013 SP2 and the 30 new features that are part of that release.

From there, Brandee led us through a discussion about Management Reporter 2012. Management Reporter is the replacement for FRx and the reporting tool for Dynamics GP 2013. Tracey then walked us though other out-of-the box operational reporting tools that can also be leveraged in Dynamics GP.
Arthur took the floor and walked us through challenges that many companies have and how Business Intelligence can help give you a better understanding of what is going on and help you better prepare for the future.
Guest speaker Dean Guest from Microsoft introduced Dynamics CRM 2013 and the fantastic new features such as mobility and social media integration to help companies deliver great customer experiences.
The morning wrapped up with Tracey touching on year-end procedures and going through tips, tricks and traps to avoid to make using Dynamics GP easier.
