System Diagnostic Service for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

The system diagnostic service compares hundreds of settings in your AX and SQL servers with Microsoft’s best practices, providing a comprehensive report that identifies potential issues and provides guidance on how to resolve each problem. The diagnostic service can even identify issues within the application such as number sequences that are not optimized or fixed assets that are set up incorrectly. The diagnostic service scans across the whole stack from server level to application components, all the way into the actual configuration that the functional consultants do during implementation. The goal of the system diagnostic is to identify precise changes that can be made to stabilize and improve the performance of your Dynamics AX 2012 environment.
Completing the system diagnostic for AX 2012 is non-invasive, and has no impact on the environment or data, so you can keep working as normal. Do reports take a long time to run?
