The Future of Microsoft Dynamics GP

Clients often tell us they’ve heard that Microsoft Dynamics GP is “going away”.  This rumor is simply not true for the foreseeable future.  In December 2011, Microsoft published a new Statement of Direction – the Product strategy and roadmap for Microsoft Dynamics GP. It outlines the development plans through to the year 2016.

Microsoft is committed to further enhancing Microsoft Dynamics GP. They have made a significant investment in new releases and will continue to ensure that Microsoft Dynamics GP has the appearance and behavior of other Microsoft products. Microsoft is dedicated to a predictable release schedule that helps customers adopt and take advantage of the latest innovations at a reasonable pace.

You can look forward to GP2013 later this year, which will include web browser capability that will enable users to access Microsoft Dynamics GP with only a compatible browser on their device.
