1. Auto-Complete

Interface: Web, Phone and Tablet
Field Type: Text
Description: The auto-complete feature used to be a developer task. This control allows users to configure an auto-complete text field based on an optionset or even a view. This standardizes data entry without custom development.
Example: State/Province is a text field, it is represented in a drop-down style with options from an entity view.

2. Input Mask

Interface: Web, Phone and Tablet
Field Type: Text
Description: Every single Encore customer wants to format their phone number. This previously was achieved by JavaScript, and the solution was not the best. Input Mask control allows custom formatting during data entry and provides instant visual feedback on format requirement.
Example: With a pre-mask on the Main Phone Number, users are guided to enter the right data format.

Description: You can do a lot with canvas app, and now you can embed your app on a Dynamics 365 form. This control opens endless possibilities.

Description: Star Rating is one of the most common controls in the mobile interface, and it is available as well here. Star Rating, ranging from 1 to 5, provides a quick and visual format during data entry.

Field Type: Two options
Description: Similar to Star Rating, Flip Switch provides a visual indicator of the data.

6. Numeric Controls

Interface: Web, Phone and Tablet
Field Type: Decimal, Float Point, Currency, Whole Number
Description: For Decimal, Float Point, Currency and Whole Number fields there are a few more applicable controls: Arc Knob, Linear Gauge, Linear Slider, Number Input, and Radial Knob. These controls provide different flavors of standardizing data entry.
Example: Number Input control provides a minus and plus sign for quick increment or decrement during data entry. Each increment or decrement is configured to a specific step.

Description: This can easily be the Number 1 control, I put it here as it is not available until October 2019. With this control, you can natively scan a business card and save the information.
