The Position

As a Microsoft service provider, fostering solid relations with a portfolio of partners is a key strategy for delivering on our company mission. We need an effective communicator highly engaged in the partner ecosystem who understands software licensing trends, cloud computing, managed services, service level agreements and recurring revenue streams to take on the role of Partner & ISV Manager.

This role performs two distinct functions. In the Partner Manager role, you will increase Encore brand recognition in target partner markets to generate partner referred leads and opportunities for our Sales Team. As the ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Manager, you will drive partner engagement, identify, and onboard new partners and work closely with cross-functional teams to fill functionality gaps in proposed Dynamics ERP and CRM solutions.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Work with various team members and business stakeholders to ensure ISV solutions integrate seamlessly with Microsoft products, provide the right margins and the right solution fit for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as primary point of contact and manage day-to-day relations and requests.
  • Identify new ISV partners that align with Encore strategic and tactical goals; explore potential partnership opportunities; assess partner commitment and alignment with company vision and values.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure partners have access to resources they need to be successful, including technical support, marketing materials, and training programs.
  • Analyze partner performance data and develop actionable insights to improve partner engagement and revenue growth.
  • Maintain and further develop the partner portal where product information, agreements and sales resources are stored.
  • Represent Encore at industry events and engage with key stakeholders to promote partnership programs.
  • Gain an understanding of methodologies used for sales, strategic account management and partner account management.

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Partner ecosystem and programs.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft products, services, and technologies.
  • Post secondary education in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Any Microsoft certifications or experience is a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in channel sales or partner management.
  • Competent with multiple social media platforms to further engage in business community, promote partner program and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Collaboration tools such as Teams, Analytical tools such as Power BI.
  • Willing and able to travel; valid passport is required.
  • Must be resident of Canada or US and legally entitled to work in resident country.
  • Must be fluent in English – both verbal and written.
