Encore Business Solutions Joins the Movement with Respect Group
Winnipeg, Manitoba – October 1, 2021. Encore Business Solutions (Encore) is excited to announce that their organization is fully Respect Certified. Encore has joined the Movement with Respect Group, a forward-thinking organization founded by former NHLer turned victims’ rights crusader Sheldon Kennedy to deliver training to equip employees with the education and skills needed to prevent bullying, abuse, harassment and discrimination (BAHD) in the workplace.
“Programs are one thing, making them a requirement for all members of the organization is about leadership and accountability,” said Sheldon Kennedy, Co-Founder of Respect Group. “Congratulations to Encore for moving how we treat one another from the Policy category to the Priority category!”
“Respectful and Professional are synonymous with the Encore brand,” states Sandy Bergman, VP HR at Encore. “As a professional services organization, interacting with clients is part of our daily routine. Being respectful is an unwritten rule within our firm and it was generally taken for granted that all our team members understood the expectation of respectful conduct, not only with clients, but each other.”
Living up to their corporate value of driven to be better tomorrow than we are today, Encore signed their team members up for the online Respect in the Workplace training program. Respect being the foundation of all interaction in the workplace, the objective of the training program was to empower everyone in the organization to create healthy supportive environments from a foundation of respect.
Today, all Encore team members are “Respect Certified”, and the training program has become a priority component of their corporate onboarding program for all new employees to complete.
