Staff turnover, new business processes, and new versions of software make it difficult to be sure you are using your software properly and efficiently.
Encore’s wide range of training services provide your team with the knowledge and skills required to ensure that you are getting the most out of your investment in technology. We can deliver training of any kind in any format.
Our Training Philosophy:
When you’re getting used to a new ERP or CRM solution, it’s not just the software that is different. There are new business processes to get used to, and the flow of information is almost always different. We have learned that making sure your employees are trained in the “new way of doing business” is just as critical to your project’s success as adoption of a user interface.
Encore is committed to going beyond “feature and function” training, because we know that it rarely improves your team’s productivity. We prefer a holistic approach centered on the user, their use case, and the business processes around the software.
Products We Offer Training for Include:
- Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
Types of Training
New Implementation Training
At Encore, training is deeply integrated into our project methodology. When you engage us for a new software implementation, we transfer knowledge to your team throughout the project so that there is no overwhelming or confusion. After go-live, Encore monitors your employees’ adoption of the new solution and provides follow-up training to ensure your success.
New User Training
If you or one of your employees needs to learn how to use your software for the first time, we offer new user training that provides the basic information needed to navigate your product.
We offer training that focuses on the “day-in-the-life” of a certain user or department, whether that is sales, accounting, inventory, human resources, or any other division.
If you are deploying a new module, or if you need a refresher on how to use a specific part of your software, we can provide a detailed training session for any Dynamics module.
What’s New Training
When you upgrade your software, Encore provides a training session that brings you up to date on the newest features and best practices.
Our Training Delivery Methods
Classroom, Workshop, or On-site Training
We can provide any type of training to groups of employees in a boardroom or classroom setting. This can be at your offices, at one of Encore’s locations, or at any third-party location.
Our office locations include:
- Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
- Calgary, Alberta, Canada
- Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
- Seattle, Washington, USA
One thing that sets Encore apart is our ability to service clients remotely. We conduct remote training via teleconferencing demonstrations and screen control, by answering questions remotely, and by preparing documentation.
In an over-the-shoulder, or “shadowing”, training session, an Encore trainer will visit your location and observe users performing basic tasks. Throughout the session, our trainer will provide time-saving tricks, corrective instructions, and new best practices based on your employees’ actions.
Train The Trainer
One of the most cost-effective methods of training is for Encore to “train the trainer”. This approach focuses on a particular individual who will become the product expert at your company. We enable them to instruct your employees on the proper use of your software.
All of our training engagements are tailored to your requirements: what knowledge you need and the format you want. If you would like a training session that’s a little different than something described here, contact us and we’ll come up with the right content and format for you.

Encore has helped myself and the entire Finance branch at PEBA by providing user training to teach us the fundamentals of Dynamics GP.
Through both in-person training and over the phone/web, I’ve learned the basics of an entirely new-to-me accounting application, along with tips and tricks to find efficiencies.
